Racing Enthusiasts Magazine is the digital home for American motorsport. We cover drag racing, dirt track, road racing, autocross, oval track, and everything that happens between the staging beams and the finish line. No corporate filter. No casual observer perspective. Just serious coverage of the sport, written by people who actually live it.
Who We Are
Racing Enthusiasts Magazine LLC is an independent motorsport media company built from the ground up for the racing community. We started with a simple conviction: American motorsport deserved better coverage than it was getting. Not just the headline NHRA nationals and the World of Outlaws feature races — but the full picture of the sport, from weekly dirt track programs at local ovals to the underground grudge racing culture that TV has never figured out how to capture.
We are not a mainstream sports outlet that drops into racing once a year. We are not a press release distribution service dressed up as journalism. Racing Enthusiasts Magazine exists specifically for the people who are at the track on weekends, who know what a 60-foot time actually means, and who understand why the staging lanes at a bracket race are more interesting than most sporting events in America.
What We Cover
American motorsport is not one thing. It is dozens of distinct disciplines, hundreds of series, and thousands of tracks — each with its own culture, its own technical demands, and its own community of competitors and fans. We cover the full width of it.
🏁 Drag Racing
NHRA national events, PDRA, bracket racing, no-prep, grudge racing, and the local strip scene. From Top Fuel to the sportsman categories, we cover the full spectrum of drag racing with the technical depth the sport deserves. Reaction times, dial-ins, density altitude, slick selection — we get into the details because our readers race.
🌀 Dirt Track
Sprint cars, late models, modifieds, midgets, and stock cars on dirt. We follow the World of Outlaws, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, DIRTcar, High Limit Racing, and dozens of regional and weekly programs. Dirt track racing is the hardest, most competitive form of short-track motorsport in America, and we treat it that way.
🏎️ Road Racing & Autocross
SCCA road racing, track days, endurance racing, autocross, and time attack. The precision side of motorsport where setup and consistency matter as much as raw speed. We cover the path from first track day to regional license to the Runoffs, because everyone in road racing started somewhere.
🔧 Tech & How-To
Tire compounds, suspension geometry, engine combinations, data acquisition, and the tools that make race cars faster. Our tech coverage is written by people who work on race cars, not just write about them. Whether you’re building your first bracket car or trying to find the last half-tenth in your lap time, we cover the technical side without dumbing it down.
Our Approach to Coverage
We cover racing the way serious fans want it covered. That means being technically accurate — understanding what actually happened on track and why, not just reporting the result. It means covering local and regional racing with the same seriousness as the national tour, because that is where the majority of our readers compete. And it means being honest about what is happening in the sport, including the stories that are inconvenient for the series and sanctioning bodies involved.
We also cover the culture of racing — the grudge night scene, the drag-and-drive movement, the conversations happening in Facebook groups and staging lanes that reflect where the sport actually is right now. Racing is a community sport. Our coverage reflects that.
Independent. Built for Racers.
Racing Enthusiasts Magazine is independently owned and operated. We do not answer to a parent company with no stake in motorsport. We do not shape our coverage around advertiser relationships. Our editorial decisions are made by people who care about the sport and the community it serves.
Our team has time in the staging lanes, time in the pits, and time in the shop. That background shapes everything we publish — from how we analyze a race result to how we explain a technical concept to a reader who just bought their first race car. We are enthusiasts first, and that is never going to change.
